The Environmental Water Systems (EWS) Max Flow Filter System is an ideal, effective, and economical solution to meet the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) Filter First Program.
Guidelines to help schools and childcare centers meet the requirements are described by EGLE in the “Filtration for Classrooms or Other Necessary Locations Where a Filtered Bottle Filling Station Cannot Be Installed”. More specifically, Option 2 that allows inline filters to be used. The program requires that any filter system must meet with NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for lead reduction and NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for particulate reduction.
EWS Max Flow is compliant with both standards. Additionally, Max Flow removes and reduces Chlorine, Chloramine, PFAS/PFOS, and microplastics. EWS provides a data sheet that details removal and reduction statistics compiled by a third-party testing facility. Moreover, each Max Flow cartridge has a 10,000 gallon life, far exceeding many other products being offered, and allows up to a 2.5 gpm flow rate.
